Description This unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to develop and manage junior development programs in golf. It focuses on developing, monitoring and evaluating programs to meet the needs of stakeholders and participants.No licensing, regulatory or certification requirements apply to this unit at the time of endorsement.

Learning Outcomes and Application This unit applies to those intending to pursue a career as a golf coach at an international level. This includes developing golf programs to develop the skills of juniors and managing the implementation of these in schools, golf clubs and community organisations.

Assessment must ensure development and management of junior golf development programs for different participant groups and playing abilities to demonstrate competency and consistency of performance.

potential participants at the junior level and networks such as schools and clubs

appropriate equipment and resources to develop and manage junior development programs in golf
